The grip in my stomach gets tighter, as we approach the wellness, park the car, and walk to the meeting place.
It gets a little better when I see the couple, though. The girl is a little chubby, but pretty and with a nice, welcoming smile. Her boyfriend is the shy type, and that makes me feel at ease. Shy people are rarely a threat.
It’s awkward, of course. We enter the place small-chatting and less than five minutes later we are in a large, private room. There is a double bed, two deckchairs, a sauna, and a large whirlpool able to accommodate the four of us.
But still, nobody speaks. Nathan takes charge, thanking them for sharing such an experience with us and asking them how they feel about it.
